What you will do
- Administer and support enterprise automation platforms in large-scale mainframe environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, workload scheduling processes, and scheduling standards.
- Design automated monitoring, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Troubleshoot production scheduling and automation issues in mission-critical environments.
- Collaborate with operations and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Maintain automation documentation and standards while driving process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in mainframe operations or systems programming.
- 3–5+ years of experience with enterprise automation solutions.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- Hands-on experience with IBM System Automation for z/OS, IBM NetView, IBM Workload Scheduler or TWS, AutoSys, CA OPS/MVS, CA 7, or related CA Workload Automation products.
- Knowledge of z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, JES2/JES3, and mainframe batch scheduling.
- Relevant IT qualification; IBM or Broadcom certifications are advantageous.

- Automation framework design experience.
- Exposure to service management tools, DevOps, orchestration, monitoring, or event management solutions.
- IBM or Broadcom product certifications.
