What you will do

• Research and probe conversational AI systems to discover vulnerabilities before adversaries do.
• Design and implement mitigations and detection strategies based on adversarial research findings.
• Build a multilayered detection core to identify malicious prompts and AI manipulation attempts.
• Productize and deploy detection capabilities across endpoint, cloud, and standalone environments.
• Collaborate with threat detection and product teams to integrate defenses into shipping security solutions.
• Evaluate open-source and proprietary AI tooling to track the evolving attack surface.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with the ability to build production systems.
• Proficiency in Python for building detection and security tooling.
• Deep understanding of how LLMs work and how they can be manipulated (e.g., prompt injection, jailbreaking).
• Ability to work independently in a newly forming team with minimal defined processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning and AI, including fine-tuning and deploying language models.
• Proficiency in C++ for performance-critical detection components.
• Professional background in cybersecurity or threat research.
