What you will do

• Explore and evaluate AI/ML methods for real-world cybersecurity problems through experiments and analysis.
• Build and test prototypes using behavioral data to identify high-value security solutions.
• Apply existing models and approaches to threat detection.
• Collaborate with senior researchers to build independence and ownership of research tasks.
• Research novel architectures specific to the cybersecurity domain to push beyond existing models.

Requirements

• University degree (Master's or higher) in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Practical experience with machine learning through internships, professional work, academic research, or personal projects.
• Proficiency in Python at a prototype level for building and testing AI/ML models.
• Foundational understanding of machine learning methods and evaluation techniques.
• Strong drive for continuous learning and staying current with state-of-the-art research.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of computer and network security.
• Experience with Big Data technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
