TL;DR
Senior iOS Developer (SwiftUI/Combine): Modernizing and evolving the iOS app by migrating from legacy Objective-C to Swift and SwiftUI with an accent on architectural shift from VIPER to MVVM-C. What you will do
- Drive the modernization of the iOS app from legacy Objective-C to a modern Swift and SwiftUI stack.
- Execute the architectural transition from VIPER to MVVM-C using Combine.
- Build and modernize product features, ensuring high quality for a global user base.
- Refactor legacy code and proactively resolve technical debt to improve development velocity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Android, Web, Product, and Design teams to ship optimal solutions.
- Manage App Store releases and monitor post-deployment performance and health.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building professional iOS applications.
- Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine.
- Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy Objective-C codebases.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns, specifically MVVM-C and VIPER.
- Experience with REST and/or GraphQL, including robust error handling and async patterns.
- English: Good proficiency required for daily communication.
- Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Stockholm, Sweden.
Nice to have
- Experience working on large, mature product ecosystems.
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices.
- Background in audio or telecommunications industries.
