TL;DR

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure): Managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure for large-scale assessment platforms with an accent on Azure services, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Milton Keynes, UK (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)

What you will do

  • Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Bicep or Terraform.
  • Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
  • Monitor platform performance, security, and availability, providing proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to modernize platform services.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours incident support rota during live exam series.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Milton Keynes, UK.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Azure infrastructure engineer role.
  • AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS within Azure.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and T-SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM).

Nice to have

  • AZ-400 or AZ-305 certifications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern development tools.
