Systems Analyst (Defence)

TL;DR

Systems Analyst (Defence): Defining and documenting system specifications for European border control projects with an accent on business process analysis and architectural modeling. Focus on translating complex regulatory requirements into UML-based application and data architectures within an Agile environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Warsaw, Poland. Offers a hybrid working model with 8 weeks of remote work per year outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Analyze business processes and elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design system and data architectures using UML and enterprise modeling tools.
• Create logical data models, use cases, and system behavior specifications.
• Collaborate with UX specialists to develop UI prototypes.
• Work closely with architects, developers, and testers to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate solution designs to stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in systems analysis and software design.
• Expert knowledge of UML and experience in application and data architecture modeling.
• Practical experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect or ARIS.
• English: C1 level required.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments.
