What you will do

• Support accounting, tax, internal controls, and regulatory reporting for Malta operations.
• Prepare financial statements for external audits and internal management reporting.
• Coordinate month-end closing processes and integrate local results with the consolidated group.
• Manage accounts payable and company operating expenses in collaboration with regional teams.
• Ensure compliance with Malta/EU regulatory landscapes, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Develop automated processes for financial analysis and decision-making.

Requirements

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or crypto.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with Malta Tax Authority requirements.
• Exposure to budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and modeling.
• Must be based in Malta.
