What you will do

• Evaluate, implement, and maintain cloud security tooling and centralized monitoring.
• Own infrastructure and container vulnerability management across cloud environments and drive remediation.
• Design and implement network segmentation to tighten internal security boundaries.
• Own access governance and credential management across cloud and internal tooling.
• Set the technical direction for infrastructure security and lead cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and ML teams to integrate security guardrails into shipments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure security or security engineering, including high-growth startup experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform (IaC).
• Experience securing ML workloads, such as GPU clusters or model-serving platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in networking, operating systems, and cryptography.
• Proven ability to independently identify and close security gaps cross-functionally.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Nice to have

• Experience with sandboxing, container isolation, or secure execution environments for untrusted code.
• Experience with CSPM rollouts.
• Incident response and security monitoring experience.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
