TL;DR

M&A and Accounting Policy Manager (Finance/Web3): Managing the full M&A and investment transaction lifecycle from due diligence to post-close integration with an accent on US GAAP compliance and technical accounting policy evolution. Focus on leading financial due diligence, owning purchase accounting under ASC 805, and drafting complex financial statement disclosures.

Location: Remote (USA or LATAM). Note: Requires attendance at quarterly in-person working sessions ("surges").

Salary: $170,765 — $200,900 USD (Base annual)

What you will do

  • Lead financial due diligence on target companies, including quality of earnings and accounting risk identification.
  • Own end-to-end purchase accounting under ASC 805, covering price allocation and goodwill calculations.
  • Manage accounting treatments for strategic investments using ASC 321, ASC 323, and ASC 810.
  • Develop technical accounting memos to evolve company policies for emerging business activities.
  • Deliver original footnote disclosures and MD&A for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
  • Partner with Legal, Tax, and Product teams to provide expertise for new product launches and integrations.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of progressive accounting experience across Big 4 public accounting and industry.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP, specifically ASC 805, ASC 321, ASC 323, and ASC 810.
  • Proven track record of leading financial due diligence and managing external consultants.
  • Ability to draft technical memos and communicate complex conclusions to stakeholders.
  • Must be based in the USA or LATAM.
