Manager, Payroll (Gamedev)

Location: On-site 5 days a week in Downtown Vancouver

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 a year

What you will do

• Direct payroll activities for Canadian and US employees, including vacation, sick leave, and overtime processing.
• Oversee payroll implementation projects and lead system integrations in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, provincial, and state payroll tax and government reporting requirements.
• Develop strategies to improve existing payroll processes and system efficiencies.
• Manage, coach, and mentor the payroll team through performance reviews and career development.
• Lead payroll-related audits and handle ICFR responsibilities, including approval of contribution files and benefit invoices.

Requirements

• Payroll Compliance Professional designation.
• 10+ years of Payroll and Benefits administration experience covering both Canada and the US.
• 5+ years of experience in a people management role.
• Experience processing payroll for organizations with over 500 employees.
• Proficiency in Dayforce, ADP Workforce Now, or other reputable payroll systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GSuite.
