Project Manager

TL;DR

Project Manager (Enterprise Software Delivery): Day-to-day delivery management of a complex, multi-workstream enterprise software implementation with an accent on sprint cadence, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance. Focus on coordinating hybrid onshore/offshore execution, enforcing RACI/governance, and aligning technology implementation dependencies while producing client-facing and internal status reporting.

Location: Remote (work-from-home) with commuting to client offices in Falls Church, VA as needed (estimated every 2 weeks)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day project tracking across all workstreams, maintaining the program plan and monitoring milestones.
• Capture, track, and drive resolution for risks and issues using the risk/issue log; enforce RACI and governance cadence.
• Run sprint operations (planning, retrospectives, velocity tracking, backlog hygiene) and coordinate offshore team capacity and blockers.
• Coordinate with the technology implementation team on dependencies and integration touchpoints; escalate program-level decisions as needed.
• Draft internal and client-facing status reports and maintain program documentation (meeting notes, decision logs, delivery artifacts).
• Support onboarding, scope readiness, system access/environment provisioning, and go/no-go readiness and cutover checklists.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years delivering enterprise software programs.
• Experience leading hybrid onshore/offshore delivery teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong Jira proficiency for sprint management, backlog grooming, reporting, and dashboard configuration.
• Proven experience managing risk/issue logs, program plans, and delivery governance for multi-workstream programs.
• Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies and sprint ceremonies (velocity tracking and iterative delivery cadences).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clear, concise status reporting to internal and client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience delivering ERP modernization, cloud platform, or enterprise data programs.
• Experience with production cutover planning and go/no-go readiness coordination.
• Prior consulting or professional services delivery experience.
