What you will do

• Define data quality requirements and metrics aligned with business and engineering needs.
• Participate in the design of data schemas and data models.
• Onboard and integrate new data sources while maintaining evolving documentation.
• Monitor production data quality through alerts, dashboards, and SLA tracking.
• Investigate and resolve data incidents across the full data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to drive quality improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, DataOps, or a Data Quality role.
• Proficiency in data profiling and analysis to identify anomalies, drift, and duplicates.
• Experience with data pipelines, including ETL, streaming, or batch processing.
• Solid understanding of JSON and YAML formats.
• Ability to work with APIs, backend services, and the Linux command line.
• English: B2+ proficiency required for reading and written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance or trading domain (brokers, crypto exchanges, financial markets).
• Experience with Kafka or streaming data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI tools and workflows.
• Python for automated data quality checks.
• Knowledge of data catalog and metadata management tools.
