Video Team Lead (YouTube Advertising)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a video team of 6 with 1-on-1s, check-ins, performance evaluations, and ongoing skill-building.
• Review drafts, animatics, and final cuts for creative and technical quality; support production when needed and solve implementation issues.
• Own delivery of YouTube advertising assets (90% of output) and collaborate with marketing to analyze performance and optimize for CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
• Translate performance data and marketing insights into clear creative direction; run A/B testing and iterate on high-potential ad formats.
• Manage timelines, workloads, and resource allocation in collaboration with campaign managers; maintain consistent file/version/asset management.
• Promote efficient workflows and explore AI opportunities to speed up video production while keeping quality high.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in animation, video editing, and producing high-impact YouTube hooks.
• Proven experience leading video teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of digital performance marketing and YouTube advertising success metrics (CTR, CVR, ROAS).
• Comfortable reviewing cuts/animatics/motion and technical implementation details; ability to turn insights into advertising strategy.
• Experience building and scaling video production pipelines and ad creation cycles from ideation/scripting to post-production.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with PPC, copywriting, design, project management, product, and marketing.
