What you will do

• Lead business risk and control efforts, including risk and control self-assessments and control assurance.
• Establish a strong risk cadence across the savings business to ensure operations remain within the defined risk appetite.
• Develop strategies to manage regulatory and operational risks in collaboration with 2nd and 3rd line teams.
• Lead a small team of risk professionals and drive the overall risk strategy.
• Design and facilitate risk training materials across teams to improve quality results.
• Provide monthly risk and compliance dashboards and reports on control testing.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in risk management and control testing, ideally in the 1st line.
• In-depth knowledge of EU and Irish retail banking regulations.
• Strong understanding of operational risk within a regulated environment.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
• Technical acumen to understand digital business architecture.
