What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications from frontend to backend.
• Apply common design patterns and ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD).
• Set up and optimize deployment pipelines and implement system monitoring.
• Translate complex business requirements into performant and secure technical solutions.
• Collaborate with design systems to deliver consistent, high-quality user interfaces.
• Integrate AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT into the workflow to increase delivery speed and code quality.

Requirements

• Proficiency in modern frontend development: ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with backend fundamentals: Node.js, MongoDB, SQL, and messaging systems like AMQP.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTTP/2, WebSockets) and API design (REST, GraphQL, OAuth, JWT).
• Competence in engineering fundamentals: Git, unit testing, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Bachelor's in Informatics, Master's in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in Belgium

Nice to have

• Exposure to C# or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
