Java Software Engineer (Application Security)

Location: Onsite in Singapore. Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore; no visa sponsorship provided.

hirify.global provides mobile application security through code hardening and threat detection to protect apps against reverse engineering and tampering.

What you will do

• Develop and improve Java-based products, including ProGuard and DexGuard.
• Research and implement new code-hardening, optimization, and application-processing techniques.
• Work with Java bytecode, compiler technology, and complex build pipelines.
• Investigate, reproduce, and debug complex technical issues as part of R&D Customer Support.
• Collaborate with customers and internal R&D teams to solve challenging engineering problems.
• Improve software quality through extensive testing.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Excellent Java skills and experience with Linux.
• Proficiency in low-level programming and debugging.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore at the time of application.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of compiler technology or Java bytecode.
• Experience with code obfuscation, optimization, or reverse engineering tools.
• Knowledge of information security.
• Familiarity with Android and Android build tools such as Gradle.
