Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden (Office presence required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do

• Own large subsets of the game world, designing the overall environment and implementing gameplay activities.
• Execute terrain editing, plan regions, and create roads, waterways, and the distribution of points of interest (POIs).
• Collaborate with the Lead and Product Owner to align design solutions with the project's vision and technical constraints.
• Improve workflows and content pipelines, including the structure of prefabs and asset collections.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a World Designer (or equivalent) in the game industry, specifically on open-world titles.
• Expertise in large-scale spatial design, terrain editing, biomes, and the integration of lore into world-building.
• Strong eye for composition, visual aesthetics, and the harmony between environment layouts and gameplay layers.
• Solid understanding of inter-departmental dependencies and production workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Stockholm office according to the hybrid schedule.
