Fullstack Developer (Laravel/Vue)

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (Laravel/Vue): Developing complex enterprise-level business applications with an accent on high-performance backend services and dynamic front-end interfaces. Focus on building scalable RESTful APIs, managing complicated data migrations, and optimizing MySQL queries within an AWS ecosystem.

Location: Remote. Must be able to work EDT business hours (8am - 5pm New York time). Open to candidates in the US and Latin America (including Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay).

What you will do

• Develop front-end and back-end components for large data-driven business applications.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, PMs, and QA to implement software solutions and execute strategies.
• Review feature requests, provide technical feedback, and maintain web application features.
• Document the development process and components for team maintainability.
• Integrate custom code with third-party web services and perform complex data migrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with PHP, Laravel, Vue, and Nuxt.
• Must be able to work EDT business hours (8am - 5pm New York time).
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
• Proficiency in MySQL profiling, query optimization, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with software testing, TDD, and unit testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, or Behat).
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, and the AWS ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Experience with OAuth and JWT Tokens.
