What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces for complex, data-heavy tax workflows.
• Architect system structures, data models, and secure REST APIs for long-term scalability.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Claude Code into the daily engineering workflow.
• Implement robust validation logic and error handling to ensure high data accuracy and audit readiness.
• Own features from initial planning through deployment, including writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
• Proven experience building production-grade REST APIs and scalable application architecture.
• Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using Cursor and Claude Code in daily development.
• Excellent written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building tax, fintech, accounting, or compliance applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience working in fully remote engineering teams.
