Education Coordinator (Humanitarian)

What you will do

• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for all education programs in Cameroon.
• Lead project design processes, including the development of budgets, proposal narratives, and log frames.
• Manage project budgets in coordination with finance teams and ensure timely implementation.
• Ensure all projects align with global technical guidelines and best practices in the education sector.
• Supervise and provide technical support to the Education Manager and other sectoral staff.
• Represent the organization in clusters and coordinate with the Ministry of Education of Cameroon (MINEDUB).

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience managing education programs in emergencies within international NGOs.
• Master’s degree in education or a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of technical tools and standards for education in post-conflict settings.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-million, multi-donor grants.
• Fluency in both French and English is required.
• Must be based in Kousseri, Cameroon.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Healing Classrooms model.
• Previous experience working in insecure or conflict-affected settings.
• Experience implementing projects funded by ECHO or the EU.
