What you will do

• Maintain a single source of truth for all SaaS and AI assets using automated discovery for licenses and dependencies.
• Rightsize the portfolio by tracking utilization, reclaiming inactive licenses, and hitting cost-avoidance targets.
• Establish AI tool governance, including the sanctioned-vs-restricted catalog and commercial terms for data retention and confidentiality.
• Develop agentic workflows using LLMs and scripts to automate discovery, provisioning, and renewal tracking.
• Lead vendor relationships, manage SLAs, and build a streamlined intake process for software and AI requests.
• Manage SaaS configuration as code and drive SSO/SCIM onboarding to automate access reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years in SaaS asset management, IT vendor management, or IT procurement.
• Proven track record of license rightsizing and measurable cost optimization.
• Commercial fluency in negotiating consumption-based and AI pricing models.
• Experience building with LLM/agent workflows, iPaaS, and scripting against SaaS APIs (e.g., Python).
• Deep understanding of identity governance (SSO/SAML/OIDC and SCIM) via Okta or Entra.
• Must be based in or able to work from New York on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience within legal, financial, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience standing up a FinOps practice and using systems like Zip, Coupa, or NetSuite.
• Experience building IT processes from scratch in a fast-scaling company.
• Certifications such as ITIL, FinOps Certified Practitioner, or ServiceNow CIS-SAM.
