Assistant Group Accountant

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Support budgeting and intra-group reporting processes.
• Perform group intercompany reconciliations and support monthly deliverables.
• Assist with VAT return completion and cashbook management.
• Oversee the Accounts Receivable ledger and process sales invoices.
• Complete ONS surveys and assist with interim and year-end audits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues and perform reconciliations.

Requirements

• AAT qualification or part-qualified status.
• Methodical, process-focused approach with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.
