Software Engineer .NET (Digital Twin)

TL;DR

Software Engineer .NET (Digital Twin): Developing and evolving a 3D simulation platform for industrial automation with an accent on C#/.NET desktop application architecture and performance optimization. Focus on building scalable solutions for virtual production process validation within the Industry 4.0 ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Poblenou, Barcelona (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: €45,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Design and develop desktop applications using C# and .NET.
• Contribute to the design of scalable software architectures for the Digital Twin platform.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to define functional and technical requirements.
• Optimize software performance, quality, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and apply software development best practices.
• Propose innovative technical solutions for continuous platform improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing software architectures and applying design patterns.
• Proficiency with Git and Continuous Integration tools.
• English: C1 level required.
• Must be able to work onsite in Barcelona 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, React, TypeScript, OpenGL, NVIDIA PhysX, or OpenUSD.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, or 3D simulation.
