What you will do

• Design and develop electronic boards and PCBs for compressor measurement devices.
• Implement physical measurement methods and sensors for real-time parameter monitoring.
• Develop embedded software and firmware for data acquisition and signal processing.
• Manage the full development cycle including specifications, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and data teams to integrate solutions into existing systems.
• Analyze experimental results and propose improvements for measurement accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Embedded Systems.
• Must be based in or able to work in Antwerp, Belgium.
• English: C1 fluent proficiency required.
• Strong foundation in C and C++ for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Experience in PCB design and electronic circuit design (analog/digital).
• R&D mindset with experience in experimental setups and physical measurements.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTOS.
• Knowledge of various communication protocols.
• Previous experience in instrumentation or research associate roles.
