Focus on regional fundraising, originating co-investment dialogues, and establishing the regional operational hub in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Location: On-site in Dubai (DIFC) or Abu Dhabi (ADGM), UAE. Requires travel of 50% or more across the GCC and MENA.

What you will do

• Lead senior coverage of GCC sovereign wealth funds, government-related entities, and principal family offices.
• Drive regional fundraising and pre-marketing for investment vehicles within private placement regimes.
• Originate and manage sovereign co-investment dialogues and strategic financing conversations.
• Determine and establish the regional hub (DIFC vs ADGM) and build the local team.
• Manage end-to-end institutional diligence processes, including DDQs and data room support.
• Ensure regional marketing and promotion activities comply with DIFC, ADGM, and GCC regulations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience covering MENA institutional capital (investment banking, asset management, or family offices).
• Proven track record of securing capital commitments or strategic partnerships within GCC sovereign institutions.
• Working knowledge of DIFC, ADGM, and GCC private placement and fund marketing frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Exceptional English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Existing relationships within sovereign gaming, esports, and digital entertainment programs.
• CFA or CAIA charter.
• Fluency in Arabic.
• Experience with Shariah-aware structuring for alternative strategies.
