What you will do

• Lead the specification of data transformation and validation logic for actuarial modelling.
• Propose simplifications to data processing and manage data limitations based on materiality.
• Provide technical oversight and review of data processing outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Advise on and review the adequacy of controls applied to data processing.
• Translate complex actuarial findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Guide and support team members to build actuarial capability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
• Strong actuarial and analytical capability with experience in UK Life Insurance.
• Deep understanding of actuarial principles in life and pensions products.
• Proven ability to lead delivery and manage complex workstreams.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience in quality assurance, controls, and governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with actuarial valuation of annuities and with-profits.
• Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Python, and Databricks.
• Strong data management skills.
