What you will do
- Support Project Managers with project planning, documentation, and cost analysis coordination.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare spending and cash flow forecasts, and perform budget variance analysis.
- Maintain and update project schedules and breakdown structures using Primavera P6 and Smartsheet.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including budget, cost, schedule, and forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors regarding project budgets and schedules.
- Assist with contract administration, bid support, and the maintenance of corporate project management systems.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Technology (or HS diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience).
- Experience in project cost tracking, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed cost analysis.
- Must be worked on a W2 basis; no C2C eligibility.
- Must be located in or able to work on-site in Fort Wayne, IN.
Nice to have
- Experience in utility, construction, or infrastructure engineering projects.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and SOX compliance.
- Experience with capital budgeting and corporate accounting systems.
