Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision)

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of computer vision systems for biometrics including face detection and recognition.
• Perform rigorous fairness analysis and benchmarking of models across diverse datasets.
• Architect, train, and optimize models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Own end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion via Airflow to deployment on AWS.
• Optimize models for low-latency inference using quantization, distillation, and TensorRT/ONNX.
• Mentor team members and drive technical best practices across the Computer Vision department.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in Biometrics or Face Analysis.
• Expert proficiency in Python and vision libraries like Pillow, OpenCV, and PyTorch.
• Strong experience designing end-to-end ML pipelines and working with workflow orchestrators.
• Hands-on experience scaling training jobs on multi-GPU clusters and deploying services on AWS.
• Deep understanding of algorithmic bias and practical experience in mitigating disparate impact.

Nice to have

• Research publications in CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or FG.
• Experience with vector databases like Milvus or Faiss.
• Knowledge of mobile/edge deployment frameworks like CoreML or TFLite.
• Experience generating synthetic data using GANs or diffusion models.
