TL;DR
Associate Frontend Software Engineer (React): Building and optimizing user-facing search experiences for the Cars vertical with an accent on clean, maintainable code and collaborative development. Salary: $95,000–$105,000

What you will do
- Deliver well-scoped frontend features for the Cars search vertical used by millions of travelers.
- Implement clean, maintainable code using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers on user-facing experiences.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability.
- Leverage AI coding tools to improve development velocity and code quality.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from the Cambridge or Concord, MA office at least 3 days per week.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Foundational proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with React or a comparable modern UI framework.
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative codebases.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

- Exposure to TypeScript.
- Experience working with AI coding tools.
