TL;DR
General QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript): Building end-to-end test coverage by designing test cases, running manual testing, and developing automated testing scripts with an accent on Playwright + TypeScript. What you will do
- Perform feature testing and participate in UAT.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, then automate them using Playwright + TypeScript.
- Maintain and enhance the automation framework to support new features and technologies.
- Monitor and report automated test execution results and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Document test results, report defects, and track resolution progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven QA experience, including creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with Playwright and automation tools/frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication for collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and GitLab.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing.
