What you will do
- Develop and ship high-quality Android features for privacy-first consumer products.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement mobile experiences.
- Build maintainable, scalable, and testable mobile architectures using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Contribute to the development of a platform-independent Rust logical core.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar within the team.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from scoping and design to delivery and iteration.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building and shipping high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
- Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
- Deep understanding of performance, concurrency, multithreading, and mobile memory management.
- Experience building maintainable, scalable, and testable mobile architectures.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute to technical discussions.
- Must be able to work onsite in Geneva.
Nice to have
- Experience with privacy, security, encryption, or sync systems.
- Experience with offline-first architectures.
- Rust programming experience.
