What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced signal processing algorithms for real-time and offline applications.
• Optimize algorithms for beamforming, array processing, and source localization.
• Implement signal processing solutions into production-grade software.
• Work with acoustic sensor data, including filtering, spectral analysis, detection, and tracking.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure optimal end-to-end system performance.
• Participate in software architecture reviews and troubleshoot existing algorithm implementations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Strong theoretical foundation in FFT, filtering, time-frequency analysis, and spectral analysis.
• Experience with software development using C#, .NET, C/C++, or Python.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Bergen, Norway.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of beamforming, array processing, or source localization.
• Experience working with real-world sensor data and Linux-based development environments.
• Familiarity with MATLAB and version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to embedded systems and CI/CD pipelines.
