What you will do
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of complex commercial and enterprise sales agreements.
- Partner with GTM leadership to remove legal bottlenecks and accelerate revenue generation.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval frameworks to scale contracting.
- Provide practical legal guidance on commercial risk management and strategic transactions.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting AI, digital media, and advertising technology.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 7-10 years of legal experience, including substantial commercial transaction work (top law firm and in-house experience preferred).
- Strong expertise in sales transactions, strategic partnerships, and advising high-growth technology businesses.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with a high-execution, low-ego mindset.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting AI, machine learning, creator economy, or content platforms.
- Experience building commercial legal processes in a high-growth startup environment.
- Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, and liability assessments.
- Substantial experience working with Ironclad.
