What you will do

  • Evaluate mainframe application landscapes and analyze technical debt to develop modernization strategies.
  • Define target architectures and technology roadmaps for mainframe and iSeries stacks.
  • Design cloud-native architectures for legacy applications focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Apply modernization techniques (re-platforming, refactoring, replacing) based on business needs.
  • Create detailed technical blueprints and lead cross-functional teams through development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align business requirements with technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 16+ years of IT experience, including 10+ years leading Cloud projects.
  • 15+ years in Application Development and Modernization using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • 5+ years of experience building solutions on cloud infrastructure to modernize mainframe apps.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation deals with mainframe/iSeries platforms.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages, frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, MicroFocus, Raincode, mLogica).
