What you will do

  • Own and execute ASO strategy across all flagship apps in Apple App Store and Google Play, including keyword research and creative asset strategy.
  • Run structured A/B testing pipelines for store listing conversion rates using App Store Connect and Google Play Console experiments.
  • Develop keyword intelligence systems to track rankings, competitor positioning, and algorithm shifts.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence app quality signals like ratings, retention, and DAU/MAU.
  • Utilize ASO analytics platforms (Sensor Tower, AppFollow, Appfigures) for traffic insights and volume forecasting.
  • Lead a team of ASO specialists, establishing best practices and playbooks to scale the function.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States of America.
  • 8+ years of experience in mobile or digital marketing, with 4+ years in an ASO leadership role managing multiple apps.
  • Deep expertise with App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and third-party ASO tools (SensorTower, AppFollow, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills in building keyword performance models and interpreting attribution data.
  • Proven track record of running statistically significant metadata and creative A/B tests.
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps to improve quality signals driving organic visibility.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) for AI-driven discovery environments.
  • Understanding of how paid user acquisition interacts with organic rankings and burst campaigns.
  • A documented portfolio of apps with sustained organic growth under direct leadership.
