What you will do

• Collaborate with Art Directors to establish a cohesive visual style for game projects.
• Prototype and implement VFX and shaders to enhance gameplay tone and pacing.
• Iterate on visual solutions through concepting and blocking out assets for in-game testing.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and audio teams to integrate effects.
• Balance visual quality with technical efficiency to meet performance requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VFX Artist in the games industry or ability to execute real-time assets.
• Proficiency in at least one game engine, specifically Unity.
• Strong understanding of shape language, color theory, and animation principles.
• Experience with industry-standard software such as Photoshop, After Effects, Maya, and Substance Designer.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo.
• Online portfolio showcasing relevant real-time VFX work.

Nice to have

• Experience working on mobile game titles.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and 3D asset creation.
