TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Web3): Building and maintaining mobile-first trading experiences for a global crypto platform with an accent on real-time data streaming and cross-platform architecture. What you will do
- Build and maintain end-to-end mobile trading experiences including market browsing, order placement, and portfolio management.
- Architect performant, real-time UI for streaming market data such as orderbooks and price charts.
- Extend core trading UI components to web surfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on gRPC, WebSocket, and FIX integrations.
- Partner with product and design teams to shape UX for new contract categories across mobile and web.
- Scope and implement solutions independently, making informed architecture and platform tradeoffs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with significant production mobile experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Swift or Kotlin.
- Experience building real-time, data-intensive UIs for trading or live feeds.
- Comfort picking up backend work in Go, Java, or Scala as needed.
- Understanding of communication protocols including FIX, WebSocket, REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
- Must be based in Singapore and able to work in a hybrid office environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial or trading applications like orderbooks and charting.
- Background in crypto, equities trading, or prediction markets.
- Exposure to microservices on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience with React Native or native module authoring.
