IT Integrator for WB Data Lake Platform (Data Lake)

Location: Bucharest, Romania (Dacia One), with a flexible setup allowing work from home or the office

What you will do

• Coordinate the Wholesale Banking data lake platform roadmap, product vision, implementation, and lifecycle management.
• Align Technical Product Owners, platform teams, tooling teams, DevOps squads, and senior stakeholders around priorities and milestones.
• Translate technical strategy and architecture into specifications, delivery patterns, and executable epics and features.
• Participate in architecture and quarterly prioritization sessions while balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Own the product backlog, remove delivery obstacles, manage risks, and ensure reliable, timely delivery within scope and cost constraints.
• Mentor Technical Product Owners and collaborate with architects, Agile Coaches, Business Analysts, ETL DevOps engineers, and infrastructure specialists.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in similar technical product, transformation, or platform integration roles.
• Strong technical background with Oracle DB, Cloudera Data Platform, Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, and ETL tooling.
• Experience with cluster administration, capacity planning, performance tuning, security and governance frameworks, and real-time streaming.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible, Bash, Python, Azure DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, networking, and cloud solutions.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional, international teams, manage stakeholders, develop product roadmaps, and coach Technical Product Owners.
• Advanced English and a Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.

Nice to have

• IT architecture knowledge and banking industry experience.
• Experience with DataStage, Informatica, DBT, Kibana-Logstash, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Previous software development experience.
