Algorithm Engineer (R&D) (Image Processing)

What you will do

• Develop image and signal processing algorithms for next-generation optical inspection and metrology systems.
• Cover the full algorithm lifecycle, including modeling, proof-of-concept design, production software implementation, and performance characterization.
• Document algorithms and provide user support.
• Prototype and test algorithms in collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven innovative track record and strong fundamentals in algorithm development.
• Knowledge of texture analysis, deep learning, image segmentation, feature extraction, classification, statistical data analysis, signal processing, and filter theory.
• Programming experience with C/C++, object-oriented design and programming, MATLAB, and/or Python.
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics with strong algorithm development experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with algorithm performance optimization, CUDA programming, parallel computing, or distributed computing.
