TL;DR
Sr Cloud Security Engineer (AWS/GCP): Strengthening security across multi-cloud environments with an accent on security automation and shifting engineering culture toward security-by-design. Focus on embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure via Terraform, and improving incident management.
Location: Hybrid (São Carlos, Brazil) - Availability to travel to the office when needed.

What you will do
- Own and evolve the cloud security landscape across AWS and GCP environments.
- Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Drive security automation to reduce manual processes and operational risk.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and Global Security stakeholders to improve remediation.
- Act as a security evangelist, influencing engineers to adopt secure-by-default practices.
- Support incident response activities, post-incident improvements, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Security, specifically AWS.
- Solid background in DevSecOps and embedding security into engineering workflows.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency working with Linux/Unix environments.
- Scripting experience with Go and/or Python.
- Advanced English (C1) for communication with global stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with GCP security services.
- Background working in multi-cloud or complex enterprise environments.
- Experience interacting with audit or external security partners.
- Relevant security certifications or strong security engineering foundations.
