What you will do

• Develop and maintain a high-quality React application for a critical financial platform.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless data flow and user experiences.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex frontend issues across the stack.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and QA for end-to-end feature delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and help drive consistent engineering standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the overall evolution of the platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional web development experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience with React, including hooks and state-management patterns.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and type-safe development.
• Understanding of secure web development, especially within financial or regulated environments.
• Strong debugging and performance-optimization skills in modern browsers.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; employment sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services relevant to frontend (S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Professional experience in fintech or banking applications.
• Familiarity with feature-driven modular architecture.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
