What you will do
- Develop and maintain a high-quality React application for a critical financial platform.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless data flow and user experiences.
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex frontend issues across the stack.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and QA for end-to-end feature delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and help drive consistent engineering standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the overall evolution of the platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional web development experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience with React, including hooks and state-management patterns.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and type-safe development.
- Understanding of secure web development, especially within financial or regulated environments.
- Strong debugging and performance-optimization skills in modern browsers.
- Must have the right to work in the UK; employment sponsorship is not provided.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS services relevant to frontend (S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
- Professional experience in fintech or banking applications.
- Familiarity with feature-driven modular architecture.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

Hiring process
