What you will do

• Lead the design and operation of scalable, maintainable, and reliable backend services and platform components.
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions while driving design discussions and architectural trade-offs.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through testing standards, performance practices, observability, and rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, business, mobile, web, data, and infrastructure teams to solve end-to-end user and system challenges.
• Improve service reliability via monitoring, proactive health fixes, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Coach engineers through technical reviews, knowledge sharing, and active ownership during production incidents.

Requirements

• Location: Based in Jakarta Office
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with backend development in production environments.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, plus fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed backend systems at scale.
• Solid experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching (e.g., Redis), and asynchronous/event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in communicating in English and working effectively in Agile environments.
