What you will do

• Lead end-to-end database deployments, including design, configuration, and complex migrations.
• Conduct architectural reviews to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and health checks for enterprise environments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on database best practices and scaling strategies.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, project plans, and status reports.
• Mentor customers and internal teams on hirify.global features, tools, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with MySQL/hirify.global.
• Must be based in Romania.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end database migrations and Linux environment administration.
• Strong consultative and client-facing skills with a track record of architectural recommendations.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation and project plans.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Java development or Apache Ignite expertise.
• Experience with Oracle and Oracle migrations.
• Certification in MySQL or hirify.global technologies.
• Multilingual (English + 1 or more European languages).
