What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of the DevOps strategy to support the company's next 10x growth.
• Manage and maintain the reliability of Kubernetes clusters for domain services.
• Develop observability and detection capabilities to decrease time to discover problems and increase system stability.
• Create and enhance self-service tooling and platforms to empower the global engineering organization.
• Build consensus and establish agreed standards for tools and practices among DevOps engineers across different geographies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with large, distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and large-scale Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
• Proven operations background running production Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Ansible, or Shell.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in Seoul, South Korea.

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio or other service mesh technologies, including traffic management.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Service registry or service discovery experience.
