What you will do

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Train and work across multiple industry-leading cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with seasoned engineers on real-world infrastructure projects.
• Produce deliverables on time and accurately report issues and task progress.
• Continuously learn new skills, tools, and techniques to advance cloud engineering capabilities.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional IT experience in a cloud/infrastructure role OR relevant entry-level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals).
• Computing degree in a similar discipline or equivalent real-world IT experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to achieve UK Security Clearance.
• Willingness to undertake UK-based travel for projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and enthusiasm for solving complex problems.

Nice to have

• Experience working with critical systems, alert monitoring, and event management.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Understanding of Containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Availability to join a 24/7 support rota.
