What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day P&C operations including recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration for the Jordan program.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to the Country Director and Senior Management Team on workforce planning and employee relations.
  • Implement GEDI (Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) strategies and foster an inclusive leadership culture.
  • Oversee safeguarding and duty of care initiatives to ensure staff wellbeing and professional conduct.
  • Coordinate the performance management process, including objective setting and development plans.
  • Analyze HR metrics and people analytics to drive operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • University degree in HR management, International Relations, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive P&C experience with a minimum of 2 years in staff management.
  • English and Arabic language proficiency required.
  • Must be based in or be able to work in Amman, Jordan.
  • Proven track record in leadership, coaching, and working within matrixed environments.
  • Broad knowledge of Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) competencies.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working within an International NGO (INGO).
