What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable cloud-based data platforms and engineering solutions.
• Develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data processing frameworks.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical design of secure, resilient data systems.
• Optimize data platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product teams on complex technical solutions.
• Champion engineering best practices including code quality, automation, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Leeds.
• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native data engineering solutions.
• Strong expertise with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Expert-level SQL skills with a focus on optimization and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and distributed processing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, or CI/CD practices.
