Location: Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day delivery of complex workstreams, including problem structuring, quantitative analysis, and synthesis of recommendations.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring high-quality execution and professional development of junior staff.
  • Own client interactions, present findings, and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Support Principals and Partners in business development, including proposal creation and pursuit efforts.
  • Provide end-to-end leadership on engagements, shaping strategy and implementation approaches.
  • Generate thought leadership to advance the practice and support business growth.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of professional experience in top-tier strategy consulting or team-oriented environments.
  • Deep subject-matter expertise in financial services (e.g., retail/corporate banking, payments, wealth management).
  • Fluency in Japanese (N1) and English is required.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex projects and delivering measurable client impact.
  • Exceptional analytical rigor, problem-structuring skills, and executive presence.
  • Willingness to travel as required by client engagements.
