What you will do
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for middleware and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
- Design, implement, and execute test scripts and traceability matrices to ensure exhaustive software testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to translate requirements into test scenarios.
- Isolate and troubleshoot technical and networking issues across the entire technology stack.
- Generate testing completion metrics and provide status reports to upper management.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (MS preferred).
- 3-5 years of professional experience with modern C/C++.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and CMake.
- Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks, specifically Google Test.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin, Ireland office.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python scripting and Git.
- Knowledge of dependency injection and software design patterns.
- Experience with proxy servers (Charles), VSPE, or COM2COM.
- Familiarity with Android build tools and cross-compilation in Linux/Windows environments.
- Experience with embedded systems and code coverage tools.
