Specialist Service Operations (Infrastructure Support): Supporting mission-critical airport systems by monitoring and resolving incidents across PAX applications with an accent on technical troubleshooting and operational reliability. Focus on automating repetitive tasks via scripting, improving system health, and collaborating with SRE and Engineering teams to resolve root causes.
Location: Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid: up to 2 days WFH per week)

What you will do
- Monitor and resolve incidents for PAX applications such as Self-Service Bag Drop and CUPPS/Smart Path.
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting using logs, API flows, and backend telemetry to identify root causes.
- Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and conduct regular system health checks.
- Collaborate with SRE, Engineering, and Field Ops for investigations and post-incident reviews.
- Contribute to the knowledge base by documenting findings and improving SOPs.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in IT operations, service support, or application troubleshooting.
- Intermediate scripting skills, with a strong preference for PowerShell.
- Solid knowledge of Windows OS fundamentals; Linux experience is a plus.
- Experience with endpoint tools or monitoring platforms like Nexthink or TeamViewer DEX.
- Comfortable working in ITIL-based operational environments (Incident, Problem, and Change management).
- Location: Must be based in Cairo, Egypt
